If you haven’t heard of CreativeLive, now would be the perfect time to check out this global online creative classroom. On May 28th, this Thursday, the Founder of FiLMiC Pro, Neill Barham will be teaching a mobile filmmaking workshop. Joining him will be Seattle cinematographer Jonathan Houser. They’ll be teaching you how to shoot with the FiLMiC Pro app, and not just for filmmakers but also for musicians and other creators.
They will be covering mobile audio techniques and showing the latest mobile gear from IK Multimedia including the iRig Pro and the iRig Mic Field.
Neill and Jonathan will be interviewing special guest filmmakers Sean Baker and Chris Bergoch who wrote, directed and shot the Sundance Film Festival hit, “Tangerine.” This film was shot entirely on an iPhone. “Tangerine” has been picked up for both international and national distribution by Magnolia Pictures. Check out the trailer for the movie here.
This is going to be a short 2-3 hour workshop and one you won’t want to miss to pick up great shooting and audio techniques from experts in the field.
