Everyone with an iPhone is able to express themselves and tell a story with the incredible power of FiLMiC Pro. It lowers the costs of filmmaking by thousands of dollars. As Neill says, “Our whole core objective is to mimic the controls you would find on a camera that is 5, 10, 15, 20 thousand dollars and bring it to, essentially everyone the world over, on a mobile platform.
Case in point, the recent success of the film “Tangerine,” at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. This is a film that may have had difficulty finding funding in normal circumstances. Now the film has been picked up by Magnolia Pictures for worldwide distribution.
